Over 15 years’ experience in headhunting and business management throughout the UK, US, Europe and Asia Pacific. Specialist in Digital, Marketing and Advertising sectors. Biochemist by degree, traveller by nature, commercial by nurture and business owner by trade – Dan loves nothing more than a challenge! Be that winning new business or finding the right person for that senior brief, you always get unparalleled commitment and drive. Always open to talk and loves absolutely anything sports related.
Lee started in the creative industry as an account handler in 2004 and made the switch to headhunting in 2010. Specialising in Branding, Design and Strategic Consultancies, Lee has worked for small boutique headhunting firms before taking a role to lead a department at a larger firm - overseeing a team specifically within the Branding, Design and Consultancy arena. Before joining Daniel Marks in the US, Lee ran his own firm and alongside sport and good food - Lee’s main passion is nurturing careers. If you’d like to meet over a bite to eat with healthy career advice on the side - Lee’s your man!
Nirmal started his career in client side marketing before making the transition to agency headhunting in 2011. Rising through the ranks, he currently leads two of Daniel Marks’ most established departments in London. Nirmal prides himself on developing and nurturing his team as well as seeing a brief through to completion. Outside of work, he’s a massive foodie exploring difference cuisines and dining experiences.
Originally from Yorkshire Helen relocated to the big smoke to embark on her recruitment career, now with over 5 years’ experience exclusively recruiting in the Freelance Creative and Design space, she’s no stranger to a last-minute brief or the Victoria line. A lover of all things sparkly and an avid festival attender, looking for glitter advice or a freelance digital designer or motion graphics specialist, she’s your girl.
Issy started her career as an Account Manager in Integrated, Branding and Design Agencies in Sydney and London. After 9 years in Advertising she decided to have a career change and move in to Creative Recruitment where she has been for the last 6 years. Issy focuses on permanent Design roles at any level, in any type of agency. Issy and her family have just spent the last year in Sri Lanka where she spent her time saving and re-homing stray dogs.
Former national ice-skating champion Beth left the dizzying heights of cabin crew life to join the Daniel Marks family. When she’s not busy recruiting for Branding & Design specialists you can find her at techno raves or recovering from them! Natasha started in Account handling in London during the heady days of Fallon’s Cadbury’s Ad’s and when ‘The Lynx effect’ had just been thought of. She loved the buzz of the industry and when a recruitment agency mentioned they had a position working with all the top ad agencies in London like BBH, Ogilvy and AMV BBDO she jumped at the chance! After 6 years she went back agency side and headed up business development for FRUKT... the pull of Amsterdam became too great however when her fiancé moved here to set up a TV channel and she took the leap. Finding again that recruiting was a great way to stay connected to her global network and the industry she loves! Along the way singing to keep her creative side alive and Natasha still writes and produces music... Giles Peterson and Sasha have both played her records on Radio 1 and in Ibiza and if you look hard enough you can find her on Spotify!

Rochelle has almost a decade of experience as an Office Manager and keeps the whole business running smoothly – we’d be lost without her! Roch is always on hand to fix any problem you might have, and enjoys the ongoing challenge of keeping Dan and Matt in check! Just don’t insult Ed Sheeran in front of her…
Gaby has 14 years’ experience in talent management, the last 5 years as Talent Lead at Publicis Sapient and Dentsu Aegis Network. Deeply passionate about people and talent development, Gaby is overseeing all Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives at Daniel Marks including The Panel, the Planning Academy and the Big Bang for creatives and marketeers.If you’d like to be involved or to hear more about these initiatives, Gaby would love to hear from you!
Darren has over a dozen years’ recruitment experience working with global digital, advertising and creative agencies. Having also worked agency and client-side, candidate care and client service are what Darren enjoys most - alongside good food, fitness and fun with his kids who love the outdoors. If you have a senior requirement within Planning and Strategy, you can trust Darren and his team to look after you.
Sally has 15 years’ experience working in leading London creative agencies across household name brands. She moved into headhunting in 2014 as a specialist in agency planning and strategy roles, across all levels. Should you be open to a new opportunity or have a requirement you’d like Sally to take care of - you know you’re in the best possible hands!
Having being brought up in France, Lola has a "je ne sais quoi” approach to recruitment that will put any candidate at ease. After gaining her experience whilst living in Argentina, it was only natural for her to come back to London. Enthusiastic, sociable and a keen listener, Lola looks after the Integrated, Digital and BTL space. Outside of work you can find her dancing the night away. Just don’t ask her to do the Tango!
Sophie graduated from Leeds University after studying Design, she then had her calling… to teach English in Budapest! After returning to her home turf, Sophie soon found her love for all things Planning & Strategy and now specialises across everything from consultancy, Data & Branding through to Design, UX & Creative Agency Planners, if this is your field of expertise - she’d love to hear from you.
Jack is the latest northern warrior to join the Daniel Marks tribe. Cricket and Man United mad, he’s no stranger to a Strategy brief having come from our sister agency, MCG&Co, in Dubai. After a bit of time travelling the world and a stint in industry, we’ve welcomed him to the London family, so if you’re a freelance Strategist or on the lookout for one, give our Yorkshire lad a call.
With an academic background that covers biology, medicine, history and music, John is a true Renaissance man. Fascinated by all things analytical, he brings a natural intellectual curiosity and passion to the art of recruiting. His love of science, people and conversation makes him an ideal headhunter and relationship engineer. In his spare time John can be found hiking in the Big Sur, jamming on his Yamaha Motif, or reading Bertrand Russell in Washington Square Park.
As an alumni of Bournemouth University, Kate has recently completed her degree in English and Media. Coming from a family background in recruitment Kate is now keen to put her stamp on the industry. Originating from the South of the River, Kate is naturally a Chelsea fan...much to the rest of the team’s dismay!
Kelly has a zest for good food, the odd glass of vino and the occasional half marathon. After relocating to the big smoke, with a successful background working for Michael Page across the UK. Kelly loves being a part of the creative and digital industry and is able to use her degree in Media Production along with her passion in photography and animation to focus her skills in getting people the career they deserve.
Marcus heads up Daniel Marks Delivery disciplines Project Management and Production. With established experience in this sector, he has been responsible for placing some of the top candidates into London’s leading agencies. Starting his career in Out Of Home, he moved into publishing for Haymarket Media, working across the industry’s premier communications titles: Brand Republic, Campaign, Marketing and Media Week
Doing her Irish heritage proud, Louise finds it impossible to go any shade other than white or red…but luckily she is much better at recruiting than she is at tanning! With 2 and a half years’ recruitment experience, you’re in safe hands. After starting out in the banking and finance world, she now specialises in creative roles across Design and Branding, where she has developed a real passion for the industry and great relationships with many of the top London design agencies. When she’s not recruiting the best design talent, you’ll find her in an Irish pub where she loves to have a sing and a dance…if you’re lucky she might even buy you a pint of the black stuff!
Chris brings with him 5 years of specialist design and marking recruitment experience. Chris focusses his time here on permanent design roles across brands and creative agencies. Outside of work Chris can be found watching: either a good war film or his beloved Watford FC. He also loves a bike ride, having cycled from Bordeaux to Bilboa and Porto to Lisbon in the last few years.
With a degree in Psychology and a wealth of Director level Talent Management experience, you know you’re in safe hands with Penny. She loves live music, well presented food and is an avid Arsenal fan! What makes Penny really tick though is the relationships she builds with everyone she meets. Matthew graduated with a degree in Statistics and Quantitative Modeling before working at a recruitment firm as an Analyst, then specializing in recruitment for Data & Analytics! He’s as thorough and detailed in his approach to recruitment as he is a big personality with a warm heart who cares about your career. Louise has a number of years’ experience as Regional EA and Candidate Manger at the Global recruitment firm Hays and at FM Global. Managing the companies Social Media output and with a background in the theatre and music world having studied at LIPA, Louise is analytical and creative in equal measure. Louise like the rest of the office is also a big fan of our Team Mascot Evie!
David trained at a global tech headhunting firm before making the transition into creative recruitment, working through the ranks at a creative specialist recruiter supporting some of London’s finest creative and digital agencies along the way. After 12 years in the industry he now leads Daniel Marks Alias, the internal talent function embedding specialist talent teams inside our clients organisations, adding value from cost saving, supporting clients to hire from a more diverse & inclusive talent pool, CIPD HR support and strategic consultancy advice. Outside of work David is kept busy with 2 kids under the age of 3 and is currently renovating a house. When he did have hobbies these included; climbing, CrossFit, paddle boarding and boxing.
After several years working in music PR, Faith moved into marketing and communications recruitment, working across both corporate and consumer sectors. She is now our HR Manager, looking out for the team’s wellbeing using her previous recruitment insight to ensure Daniel Marks continues to grow and nurture the best talent in the industry. Faith is still a keen gig-goer, and self-confessed Bon Jovi devotee.
Dani’s background is in health and fitness and after successfully helping to launch a new gym as an assistant manager, she has now decided to join Daniel Marks as an assistant, ensuring the smooth operations of our offices around the world. On the weekends, you can catch Dani getting involved in her long-time passion of motorsports, which sees her looking after the professional racing drivers and their sponsors, as well as occasionally getting a little more glamourous and gridding for the drivers.
Evie is Head of Greetings and excels in naps and cuddles. Always with a positive and excitable attitude she’s a motivator and the team morale officer - although does require focus as she’s easily swayed by biscuits and other peoples sandwiches.

After several years working as a Senior Reporter for the likes of Brand Republic and New Media Age, Sam made the switch to PR and hasn't look back since. Sam is the life and soul and with the busiest schedule bar none running Pink PR, we're lucky to have her as our head of PR for Daniel Marks London.
